Hunter Found Cold and Wet

Prince George- Prince George Search and Rescue and the RCMP averted a cold night for a hunter in the Davie Lake area.

The hunter had taken his canoe in an attempt to retrieve a moose on the Crooked River. When he failed to return, family called upon the rescue. He was found just before 4:00am Sunday morning. The hunter was reported to be cold and wet, otherwise o.k.

Police did not report whether the moose also made it out.
