Body Found In Otway Gravel Pit Area

Prince George- The Prince George Serious Crime unit continues to investigate human remains found in the Otway gravel pit area on Monday October 26^th.

Police cordoned off the area and worked overnight gathering evidence from the scene.

As of this hour the remains have not been identified, but police are treating the death as suspicious.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity, or vehicles parked in the area over the last seven to ten days, get in touch with the police at 250-561-3300, or call crime stoppers, or go on line and report your observations at www.crimestoppers.bc.ca

Could that silver car abandoned along foothills about a klick south of the cement plant for four or five days now have anything to do with this?
