Prince George, B.C.- School District 57 has prepared a 9 page document for staff, students and parents, outlining what is being done to deal with the H1N1 pandemic.
Superintendent Brian Pepper says the thought is, schools will not be closed. “People who think closing a school will hinder the spread of the illness are wrong, that won’t stop the spread of H1N1.”
Pepper says the real challenge is to make sure there are enough staff members to cover classes. “If staff get sick during the day,   staff will be going home in the middle of the day. Principals and staff fill in for one another on many occasions, so we will have teachers in front of children every day. We can deploy staff, I won’t say at a moment’s notice, but we can respond quite quickly.”
The School District is in regular contact with Northern Health’s Public Health Officer, Dr. William Osei,  and the responsibility for school closures does not lie with the school or the School District. “That decision would be made through consultation with the Ministry of Education, the Northern Health and Provincial Public Health Officers and myself.”   When there is an absenteeism rate of more than 10% the school’s health nurse will contact Northern Health and Northern Health will make calls to make sure the absentee rate is a direct result of health issues.

I believe fear and panic are behind this so called flu pandemic. Guess what?

It happens every year at this time. Those who are weak, run down and vulnerable always run the risk of getting sick.

Think about what you are doing before you line up for this shot. Think about what they will want to pump into you next time. They are trying to force it on us already.

Please do your own homework and research first. There is so much more to this than what is reported on the news. There is also so much more that is not reported. Ask the media to provide the proof that over 1,000 people have died from H1N1 in the US. They can't.
The district's plan stinks. If everyone stayed home when they felt ill fewer people would get sick.

By the time you show symptoms you are already contagious...be it the common cold or flu.

I really want to smack the morons that gob all over the place, cough without covering up, or sneeze on whomever or whatever happens to be nearby.

Washing your hands after using the biffy is a good practice...just grab the door handle with a paper towel or your coat sleeve. Don't forget to wash your fruits, veggies and tops of canned goods...the grocery store gives me the willies! Yuck! Achooo!
Chester,

Your right. They can't prove it. This whole thing is a bunch of crap. Follow the money. That is why we are being told to get this shot. They are also scared because there is a lot of tourist money on the line with the Olympics right around the corner.
Conspiracy theories abound!
