Prince George, B.C.-  Members of Moms on the Move held a protest this morning outside the office of Prince George-Mackenzie MLA Pat Bell.
A handful of protestors waved placards in an effort to remind the Provincial Government that budget cuts hurt the most vulnerable members of the community, those with special needs.
The protest in Prince George was one of 18 community protests organized for this “Provincial Day of Action”.
Moms on the Move is a volunteer support network for families with people who have special needs.
Pat Bell’s office was not open at the time of the protest (7:30 -8:30) this morning.

And I am sure that the NDP has all the answers....NOT!!!!!!
And why do you presume these mothers are NDP?
Probably because they're waving signs around in a parking lot??????
Gotta find the money to pay for all those flu shots somewhere.
I would like to know what special needs they are talking about and which cuts in funding. There are cuts everywhere now and not only in a few places. Sometime these people are going to have to stand up and look after their own, and not expect the government to keep doing it. If there is no money, there is no money.
Be happy and wave an olympic flag
It seems just like yesterday that I was protesting the same kind of cuts in funding when Willie Wooden Shoes was Premier. Nothing new under the sun, ladies. Carry on.
EBS&L - thanks for the laugh, I needed that - hahahaha
I remember too Harbinger.
Seems the more things change the more they stay the same!
