This would be funny if it wasnt for the fact that Canadian soldiers have been trying to help these people and they actually feel this way. I hope our troops come home as planned.

Canada should have pulled out of Afghanistan years ago. We have lost too many good young people and for nothing.

If you folks think its only about helping the Afghan people then I don't know where you are getting your information from. Its about trying to bring stability to that whole region to protect our way of life. If you think walking away and burying your heads in the sand will make everything right then you are sadly mistaken. These Islamic terrorist thugs will be back on our doorstep in short order.

What better time to mock the Canadian mission in Afghanistan than the Remembrance week.

Its a fine line we walk eh? On one hand it seems that the Taliban was responsible for the 9/11 attacks and on the other no one wants to do anything about it.
What do you do? Do you provide arms and training so the Afghan people can free themselves from oppression through civil war? Or do you commit troops and cash to fighting a war yourself? Or is it our place to even be in there in the first place?
I certainly don't have the answers. damned if you do....

What are we doing trying to force our values on their country?? That's exactly what we ourselves hate over here! We are tired of monority groups from the east coming here and changing our laws so why don't we get to hell out of their country and leave them alone? It's none of our damn business how they treat each other. Nuff said!

No one ever proved who did what when 911 happened. I for one do not care to listen to the likes of Bush and his minions. But we are there and our troops need are support more than ever now. IMO this is a war not being won and nothing has changed for the people there. I looks to me like they do not want us there even. But who am I but a person with an opinion.
