The B.C. Court of Appeal has rejected the appeal launched by Gordon Darrel Wolfe.

Wolfe is serving a life sentence for the first degree murder of his wife Tracy, and the attempted murder of Mark Guillet at the Prince George Harley Davidson shop in July of 2000.  Tracy was shot to death, and Guillet was seriously wounded.

Wolfe  was trying to get a new trial and was using an incident involving a juror as the basis for his request.

At issue; an incident in which a juror was said to have discussed the case with fellow workers.  The Judge hearing the trial, Supreme Court Justice Glen Parrett, advised legal council of the allegations, requested the R.C.M.P. investigate, spoke directly to the juror (who in turn denied the allegation) and failing any evidence to prove the contrary, did not take further action.

The Court of Appeal has ruled the judge acted appropriately, and there is no basis for a new trial.
