Fire On Gould Cres.

Prince George - At approximately 8 PM last evening Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a house fire in the 3600 block of Gould Cres. Fifteen firefighters from three halls arrived to find smoke and flame coming from the roof of the structure. No one was home at the time, but the family pet , a small dog was rescued.
Crews were able to knock down the flames and remained on scene for several hours. Investigation has revealed that fire started as a chimney fire but soon traveled into the roof structure.
No estimate of damage is available at this time.
