This apartment building in FSJ is up for grabs at the local auction
When bidders converge on the Ritchie Bros Auction site just east of Prince George on Highway 16 later this morning, in addition to logging trucks, construction equipment, forklifts and the like, an apartment building in Fort St. James will also be on 'the block'.
It was just two weeks ago, the Auctioneers sold off a piece of lakefront property owned by former Premier Bill VanderZalm at Tatton Lake, near 100 Mile House for $325,000.00.
Today, the highest bidder will be walking away with the 28-suite building listed as having a potential gross income of $145,000.00 per year.
"It's a great piece of revenue property for that person who is looking for investment income," says Kieran Holm, Sales Development Manager for Ritchie Bros, "All our auctions are unreserved -- meaning that the property sells to the highest bidder on auction day, with no minimum price."
There is also a towing/wrecking business in McBride that will auctioned off, as the owner is looking to retire. Both will be open to bids at 10am. (for more information, go to www.rbauction.com)
