Cougars Host Kootenay To End Home Stand

The Prince George Cougars will end a six game home stand tonight against the Kootenay Ice in their only meeting this season.
The Ice have not travelled to Prince George since February 6, 2008. The Cougars have dropped four in a row and are coming off a 6-5 loss to the Calgary Hitmen Wednesday night. The Ice are ending their BC Divison road trip, which has seen them win each of the four games prior to tonight, including a 6-2 win in Vancouver in their last outing Wednesday.
The Cougars Brett Connolly is on the hottest streak for the Cougars, with seven points in his last three games, including a three point night against the Hitmen Wednesday.
Game time is 7:00 at CN Centre and fans are encouraged to bring gently used coats and jackets to tonight's game, which will be collected by the Yellowhead Rotary Club and Salvation Army, which they will distribute to children in need. The Cougars will hit the road tomorrow for a game in Kamloops, the first of five in a row on the road. The Cougars next home game is Friday, December 18 against the Blazers, with the Teddy Bear and Toque Toss game on December 19.
