The Prince George Cougars will end a six game home stand tonight against the Kootenay Ice in their only meeting this season.

The Ice have not travelled to Prince George since February 6, 2008.  The Cougars have dropped four in a row and are coming off a 6-5 loss to the Calgary Hitmen Wednesday night.  The Ice are ending their BC Divison road trip, which has seen them win each of the four games prior to tonight, including a 6-2 win in Vancouver in their last outing Wednesday.

The Cougars Brett Connolly is on the hottest streak for the Cougars, with seven points in his last three games, including a three point night against the Hitmen Wednesday.

Game time is 7:00 at CN Centre and fans are encouraged to bring gently used coats and jackets to tonight's game, which will be collected by the Yellowhead Rotary Club and Salvation Army, which they will distribute to children in need.  The Cougars will hit the road tomorrow for a game in Kamloops, the first of five in a row on the road.  The Cougars next home game is Friday, December 18 against the Blazers, with the Teddy Bear and Toque Toss game on December 19.

any predictions on outcome?
Ya, -The cougars are still undefeated when leading, going into the third period.
(They never lead going into third)

-Dean CLark only 15 wins away from 700 wins. ( maybe 2 more years )

-Cougars are only 5th in their division.
(60 CHL teams, They are in 60th position)

-The Cougar Goalies stop on average 40 shots per game. (average shots against per game 45)

-Cougars scored 5 goals last game.
(hitmen scored 6)

They will loose.
Im not going to the game thats for sure.

$17 per ticket for a $5.00 product??????

Those are very impressive stats.... Hitmen tickets are $35 here in Calgary, but then again.....

$5 is probably a good price point for the worst team in the CHL

How long till Brodsky and Co. trades Connoly for "Futures" and announces another "rebuilding" scheme, promising the world but delivering nothing, most of the league treats PG as "guaranteed win night"

Too bad, they were actually pretty good with Dennis Polonich as GM.... maybe I've hit on the problem here?....
Calgary ticket prices
LEVEL ONE
CA $20.00 - CA $35.00
LEVEL THREE
CA $15.00
LEVEL TWO
CA $15.00
GENERAL ADMISSION
CA $15.00
Not sure why anyone would buy $20-$35 tickets when general admision is $15.

I was wrong the Cougars played a good game tonight.
Trading Connoly and you may as well close the CN Centers doors! I cant see that happening
