Complaints Commissioner to Release Dziekanski Report this Morning

Vancouver, B.C.- Paul E. Kennedy, Chair of the Commission for Public Complaints Against the RCMP (CPC) will release his report into Robert Dziekanski's in-custody death later this morning in Vancouver.
The report has been two years in making, as the Chair initiated the complaint on November 8th of 2007, three weeks after Robert Dziekanski died at the Vancouver Airport afterbeing tasered by RCMP.
The CPC first became involved in the case when it deployed an independent observer on October 15, 2007 to monitor the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) criminal investigation which followed Mr. Dziekanski's death.
The report was delivered to the RCMP for review in mid October.
