What's the carbon footprint of all those candles?

IMO the whole climate change policy is the policy of communists looking for our money to redistribute, and a bureaucracy of control over development in national economies. I think they sell a good sounding cause to advance their agenda, and some people willingly trust the information they are told and are an easy buy in for reasons they can justify as 'saving the planet'.

I think pollution is bad, and we should do everything we can to prevent local pollution, but rationing our energy use in the world jungle of competition via financial penalty to heat our homes is simply an enabler of those that would harm our national interest.

I have a theory on climate change I haven't seen explored yet. In space they have a potential difference of electrical charge of something like 1.5 volts per meter of space. If you string out a tether in space it will pick up a charge difference and act like a capacitor causing the tether to explode at a point. Its the free energy of the future and when one considers the vast interface surface we have as a planet with space we must know this effects our climate... just as the radiation from sunlight also effects our climate... both create heat with one constant from the universe, and the other during daylight hours from our sun. In a cold world atmospheric moisture is locked up in the polar ice caps and the atmosphere is dry and just not very conductive, but as the atmosphere generates more moisture it can better conduct the energy of space into the atmosphere. I think we are dealing with feed back loops in the climate that sees more ocean surfaces in the Arctic ocean releasing more moisture into the atmosphere thereby acting as a capacitor of more energy absorption from space distributed into the large capacitor of our oceans and their currents that drive daily climate... my theory is that this will moderate the temperature mean throughout the planets as the weather systems and ocean currents distribute this additional moisture and heat/energy into new areas.

I think my theory of natural climate changes makes the most sense... and in that regard the Copenhagen conference would be akin to the communist world congress of sorts for its redistribution agenda (debatable obviously ;)

Are the candles for the purpose of mourning the death of honesty and integrity at the CRU?

The combustion of fossil fuels pollutes our air, soil and water. Stop burning coal, oil and natural gas! The sooner the better!

There are plenty of other sources of energy available. Everybody knows what they are!

Get with it, for crying out loud!

PS: First step, eliminate the demand for oil. Good luck with that.

Maybe, there just plain too many of us. Maybe we need to reduce the # of people. Than we can reduce the demand on our resources.

CLIMATEGATE! Oh noo, the "save the world" campaign is loosing steam since it is based on lies and false data. Now there are resulting to candle vigils to recruit more tree huggers. Except defeat! You were minipulated into believing something, it happens everyday. Accept it, move on and live your life. Recycle, do your little part to keep our community clean. Stop trying to save the world from something its not dying from.

Sure shows how people can be lead around like sheep. For those holding their pretty little candles, just think if all this corrupted science BS passes that is all you will have for light.

The note above says something about battling climate change, hello editor just what does that mean, please define. Seems to me the climate is always changing, right now its in a cooling trend. Notice how the term global warming got changed to climate change since the earth is not warming. Notice how Co2 and pollution are now combined in the same Co2 ladened breath. Think of this, take away Co2 plants will not grow, plants not growing will reduce oxygen production, no oxygen, no life.

Notice how climatgate is barely mentioned in mainstream media of which I will now include this site. The proof in climategate is not so much the emails but the computor code included.

Increasing Co2 is supposed heat up the planet, thats the war cry. Then explain to me why the Co2 is increasing, and its been much much higher in the past, the earth has not been warming for the last 15 years.

Folks if you believe in man caused globull, warming then mail me your wallets and I will show how to protect yourselves. Oh shoot Gore and every scientist perpetuating this scam is already running that scam.

Hey, I'm no tree hugging, fish kisser. But, we have all been living a bit too high on the hog. We all need to review what we do, and recognize our resources are finite.

Very good post seamutt, I could not have said it better myself. Unfortunately it is going to take a long time to turn their thinking around. They have been brainwashed for so long about globull (nice play on words) warming, the deprogramming will take twice as long.

Betcha every single candle holding "useful fool" sure likes their hot water. Unless they live in a cave, walk to the protest and cook their humanely killed meat once a week, I would have to call them two faced hypocrites. But that's just me.
