Residents Of 30 Units Evacuated From Apartments After Gas Leak

Prince George- Firefighters have just gone to the scene of a major gas leak after the residents of 30 units in the 2000 block of Uplands were evacuated just after 2.00pm. Today.
A resident said that someone wearing a Terasen Gas jacket knocked on his door asking his family to leave. There are 14 units in his complex and a further 16 units across the way.
The resident said that the fire Department was not told of the problem until just after 3.15 this afternoon, when he took it upon himself to notify them about the problem.
Residents say the leak took place after someone was working on the meter of a unit in the A- Complex of the building
