Highway 97 Closed South of Williams Lake

Williams Lake, B.c.-  Highway 97 is closed in both directions about  4  km south of Williams Lake because of a crash.   

A chartered bus  carrying  the Fraser Valley Bruins   from Abbotsford to Prince George, slid off the  road  this afternoon.  Twelve members of the team of 15- to 17-year-olds  suffered injuries.   While none of the  injuries is  considered life threatening,  there are  broken bones. Twelve  of the passengers were taken to hospital in Williams Lake.
