5 goals on 20 shots against the Kings. The first three on 11 shots. Question to the Kings coach.... how badly does Nielsen have to play before you give Beesley a chance?

I noticed last night that none of the Kings are skating back to their goaltender after a goal against to give the supportive "we'll get the next one" tap on the pads.

That said, Christmas came early last night with all the power plays handed to the Kings. They still might not have won but the score should have been closer.

Question to the Quesnel Millionaires coach... does Bigsnake even play hockey? Seriously, does he play hockey? I've never seen him take a shift yet. He comes out during a stoppage in play and instantly starts fighting somebody. If you're going to roster a goon can you at least get one that can play a few shifts on the fourth line?
Things are sinking with the Kings...their goaltending last night was so bad that people were tense every time the puck came in their end. Looks like there will be an exodus of players on the trade deadline, on top of the exodus that happens every year when the kids decide they dont want to be belittled, yelled at or whatever Dempsey does to make players quit.

This team is lucky in that there is a worse team in town to put the spotlight on, otherwise there would be a lot more coverage on how a team that has the largest population market in the Interior Conference and lots of access to northern players and the Cariboo Cougars can be fighting for a playoff spot with two small market towns in Quesnel and Merritt and an expansion team in Williams Lake
