One Person Dead, Hazmat Team Called to Connaught Hotel

Prince George,  B.C. -  RCMP, firefighters,  and the Hazardous Materials team are on scene at the Connaught Hotel in Prince George, investigating a suspicious death. Constable Gary Godwin says they got a call  shortly before 11:00 this morning from a hotel employee saying   they had discovered a deceased male in one of the rooms.  

Paramedics  and ambulance attended,  and called in the Hazardous Materials  teams  after  entering the room and  discovering a  substance.   It is not yet known what the substance is, however, the employee who  entered the room  has been quarrantined and is under observation.

Cst.  Godwin  says foul play is not suspected,  but the death is being treated as suspicious.  Rooms adjacent to the  room  where the body was found, have been  evacuated   and  guests have been moved to other parts of the hotel.
