Prince George, B.C.- The driver of pick up truck involved in the crash on Highway 16   about eleven kilometres east of Bednesti last night, has been transported to Vancouver for treatment. His condition is not immediately known.

The crash between the pick up and a transport truck happened around 7:15 last night. The highway was closed for 7 hours as traffic analysts examined the scene.

The cause of the crash is not yet confirmed, but at this point,   police do not believe there was any alcohol involved. Police say a medical condition of the pick up driver may have contributed to the crash.
