Fewster Out of Final

The Fewster rink of Prince George has been eliminated at the Scotties BC Women's Curling Championship in Penticton.

Fewster lost 7-3 to Marla Mallett of Royal City in the three-four page playoff game today .

Trailing 2-0, Mallett scored 3 in the third end but the PG foursome got one back in the 6th to tie the game at 3. Mallett crack a deuce in the 7th before stealing single points in the 8th and 9th.

Fewster ended round robin play with a 6-and-3 record.  Jen Fewster called the game while throwing third stones with sister Kristen Fewster throwing last rock.  

Mallett advances to the semi-finals tonight against Kelly Scott of Kelowna.

The winner will meet Kelley Law of Royal City in the Sunday 2pm final
