Prince George, B.C..- Highway 16 is closed between Tete Jaune Cache to the Alberta border. There have been numerous crashes, some involving as many as 5 semi tractor trailer units plus other vehicles. There have been no major injuries.

Although the weather is mild there is a strong possibility of black ice in the shaded areas of that stretch of highway. The highway is expected to remain closed until at least noon, or when road conditions improve.
