Our province's economy would be a whole lot better off without the Olympics and with the legalization of marijuana.

Who cares, it would create so much taxes and take away a major cash cow for the underworld....I know not all, but it would put a dent in it.
One cannot buy tickets unless one has deep pockets AND connections
One cannot attend certain events at all
Vancouver will be virtually locked down for the duration
VANOC copied the design of local knitters and had the products produced off shore
Now they are forbidding locally produced flowers.

Is there anyone left (other than the corporate CEOs) that still think the Olympics are a good idea? It seems to be well hated, with good reason, from all sides of the political spectrum.
