The Spruce Kings' Lottery Show Home at 2267 McTavish Road

With the Prince George Spruce Kings hockey club getting set to host the National Junior "A" Championships in 2007, this year's show home lottery is crucial to the team's fund-raising efforts.

So says, the team's Show Home Lottery Manager, Kelly Sharp.  Sharp had been hoping for a sell-out on this year's three-bedroom home valued at more than $270,000.00, overlooking the 7th green at Aberdeen Glen Golf Course.

With 6,999 tickets up for grabs at $100.00 a-piece, Sharp thought a first-ever sell-out appeared possible this year, but says ticket sales have dropped off a bit since Christmas.  There are approximately one-thousand tickets left before tomorrow's grand prize draw.  Tickets will be on-sale until just before the 6pm draw time.  The ticket hot line number is 962-4946, the home can be viewed by clicking here.

Ed McNeil of Prince George was the final early bird winner on Wednesday, winning a family vacation to Disneyland.

Glad you are happy Gofaster.
I attended a Spruce King game about 10 years ago. Watched a couple young fellows fight, listen to the crowd screaming, saw the blood on the ice, and never went to another game since that day.
However, the new rules in the NHL may make me go watch the kids again. I really enjoy watching the NHL now. The games are fast, the enforcers have very little value under the new rules, and the best players are able to show what they have got, without worrying they will be mained to slow them down. Gofaster is the name of the game these days and I love it!
If one is into gambling and betting the odds, the less tickets sold, the better your chances.

So, if you need a house or you like the odds, today would be a good day to buy a ticket.

Or, if you just want to support Junior A hockey in PG, today is a good day to buy a ticket. Chester
