Prince George, B.C.- The Western Silvicultural Contractors’ Association will kick off it’s two and a half day annual conference and trade show in Prince George today.
Over the course of the conference the delegates will be invited to discuss a variety of topics including safety in the field, the changing forestry landscape, and fire fighting and forest management in the US.
The Association will hold a banquet on Thursday evening with guest speaker Dr.Bruce Fraser, the Chair of the BC Forest Practices Board.
The conference, being held at the Coast Inn of the North, will also feature a trade show.
