Prince George, B.C.- Tourism Prince George is looking for people who are heading to the Olympics, or who just want to show their P.G. Pride.

 

Tourism Prince George is sending out an invitation for people to join the Prince George Ambassador Team. It is as simple as wearing a “more than you can imagine” PG button on your jacket that draws people into the tourism website, and passing these buttons out to others. TPG wants to connect with PG citizens and alumni to wear the buttons so the city’s presence is noticeable amidst the crowds in Vancouver.

 

Also, Tourism Prince George is looking for pictures of people wearing their buttons at Olympic related events.

 

Not going to the Olympics? No problem, you can still participate by wearing a button during Olympic festivities in Prince George.

 

Tourism Prince George is also looking for interesting stories with local business, sports, and tourism connections to the Games in order to promote Prince George to the thousands of international on-site media in Vancouver and Whistler looking for unique story ideas across British Columbia.

 

TPG is working closely with Northern BC Tourism and its linkages to the international media to ensure the world has an opportunity to get to know Prince George and Northern BC during the next two months.

Buttons will be handed out to various businesses and organizations in town, or you can pick them up at Tourism Prince George, 1300 First Avenue.
