Prince George, B.C.- On the eve of the fourth anniversary of the disappearance of 14 year old Aeilah Saric, RCMP investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two men who were seen talking with the teen in the wee hours of the morning of February 3rd.
Aeilah was last seen walking along Quince Street between the hours of 12:30 and 4:00 in the morning of February 3rd. About a week later, her body was found in a ditch off highway 16 east, near Tabor Mountain.
The investigation into Aeilah’s death is being handled under the RCMP’s “E-Pana” umbrella, that’s the group that is investigating the 18 deaths and disappearances along highway 16.
Holding a photo of Aeilah, RCMP spokesperson, Constable Annie Linteau says they don’t have any description of the two males, only that they were on foot, and a witness has reported seeing the two trying to engage the young teen in conversation. “We would like to know what they talked about , if Aeilah said where she was going or told them anything that a could help us in this investigation.” (click here for video of Cst Linteau)

Linteau says investigators do not have any information that would indicate the teen was involved in any high risk behaviour such as prostitution or drugs.
Anyone who may have information is asked to call the Historic Homicide line at 1-877- 543-4822 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. “No tip is too small, we want to hear from anyone who may be able to help us bring closure to this case.”
