Kings Back In Hunt For Playoffs

The Prince George Spruce Kings have moved within two points of the TrailSmoke Eaters for the 7th and final playoff spot in the BCHL InteriorConference following a 6-2 triumph over the Williams Lake Timberwolves. 

The Spruce Kings put the game away by scoring four straight goals in thefirst 11 minutes of the second period to open up a 6-1 lead before anannounced crowd of 837 at the P.G. Coliseum. 

 Zac Rasmussen scored twice, RJay Berra added a goal and three assistsand Sam Muchalla chipped in with a goal and two helpers. 

The (15-33-1-4) Spruce Kings host Nanaimo Friday and Victoria Saturday
