Where they out by breakfast?
Hmmm, I hope they get at least a stern warning not to do this again.
Yummy, puppy got fed again, or should that
be, get him a tetanus shot for that yucky
human blood. And, if they have records, it
will be a bail hearing, after the guy gets
his stitches of course, must help the little goofs before we bail them.

Better than the guy up in Dodge. Wonder if
he asked him if he wanted fries with his
fingers.
Finally a bait car worked, good to see our
misguided and unfortunate are getting caught with their own stupidity.
What ya mean, "May be charge". If your not gonna nail the little b@$t@rds, don't waste our money on bait cars.
Send them to the US for sentencing, they know how its done. Better yet send our judges to learn.
May be charged? What a joke. What are the bait cars for? Is this a catch and release program to turn them into better crooks? Make bait cars that detonate and kill all the losers in them when they are stolen.
well said Whitewater!
Um, we jail about 104 people per 100,000. They jail about 739.
Which one do you really believe is a safer society? (we have 2 intentional homicides per 100,000 - they have 5 - wikipedia is your friend)
Jail doesn't work - social programs do, they just piss us off cause we feel screwed cause we don't need them.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_in_Canada#Comparisons

"For example, in 2000 the United States' rate for robberies was 65 percent higher, its rate for aggravated assault was more than double and its murder rate was triple that of Canada. However, the rate of some property crime types is lower in the U.S. than in Canada."

So, we spend 7 times as much money as we do now (put 7 times more people in jail) to get a more violent society with a lower property crime rate. (When you put that many people in the big house to visit with the real criminals they tend to come out with a go big or go home attitude and commit larger crimes)

Doesn't make sense does it?
The problem isn't how many people we put in jail. The problem seems to be how many people we keep putting in jail and releasing and putting in jail and releasing and putting in jail and etc. I think that unless the little weiners (notice I didn't call them dingalings) prove that they are ready to play nicely in the sandbox by taking classes and rehab and whatever, leave them in there. Take away the colour televisions, gymnasiums, and comforts of society. Make them earn back the right to get out. I apologise to the bleeding hearts that will disagree with me.

As for the bait cars...Having them detonate would make even more potholes. Instead, have the doors lock and the engine exaust pumped in. JMHO
