Quesnel Grow Op Busted

Quesnel, B.C.- RCMP in Quesnel have executed a search warrant on a home on Johnson Road in the Dragon Lake area and uncovered a major grow op.
Police say the entire residence was being used for the marijuana grow op, and out buildings had been set up for more seedlings. According to police, the grow op had tapped into B.C. Hydro illegally and was stealing power.
Police seized 1500 marijuana plants from the home, and about $30 thousand dollars worth of equipment.
Although no one was home at the time the search warrant was executed, Quesnel RCMP say the operation is linked to Asian organized crime in the lower mainland.

Another agricultural incident. Shouldn't this be under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Lands and Agriculture?

When are they going to bust the harmful hard drugs?
I have never heard any verifiable evidence of a cannabis user being harmed by its use.
We see almost daily the results of cocaine, heroin, crack, and the chemical recreational drugs.
So when will they do something about the stuff that is actually harmful?

It seems that the RCMP has found a way to find "tapped" hydro lines-now if they could find a way to find the chemicals used for the more harmful drugs our youth may have a chance

Right on. But, it is time for more focus to be put on the meth/crack trade. Those two drugs are causing a lot more harm than even the souped up pot they have these days.
