Prince George RCMP have three people in custody following a couple of break and enters in the College Heights area this morning.
The fist call came in around 8:00 this morning from a neighbour who noticed a Queens Crescent home had been broken into.
Police were able to follow the tracks in the snow to a second house on Moncton Crescent where Police beleive their suspect hid, before changing shoes and leaving the scene. At that site, police found a male and female who were busy loading up some goodies, so those two were arrested.
Meantime, back at house number one, a small car approaches the scene, but when approached by police, the driver tries to speed off, but crashes into a parked vehicle at the corner of Moncton and Gladstone. The driver then makes a run for it on foot. Police say that in an effort to evade capture, their suspect broke into another house to hide, then bolted again and police picked him up nearby.
The small car has been seized, and is full of items which police think may be stolen property.
