Prince George, B.C. - It is probably little solace for the Prince George Spruce Kings, who didn't make the BCHL post-season, but the team did end off the year with a win.

The Kings closed out the regular season at the Coliseum last night with a 5-4 victory over the Burnaby Express.

Luke Hannas snapped a 4-4 tie early in the third to secure the season-ending win in front of 976 fans at home.

The Spruce Kings finish in 8th place in the Interior Conference with a record of 18-37-1-and-4, including a 9-20-and-1 mark on home ice.
