Prince George, B.C. - The Prince George detachment of the RCMP made a second large marijuana grow op bust yesterday.
A search warrant was executed on a residence in the 9400 block of Edna Road.  Police seized 1520 plants in various stages of growth.
A 36 year old male and a 45 year old female, both Vietnamese, and both from Surrey were arrested.
The two arrested will be charged with Possession for the purpose of trafficking and production of a controlled substance as well as theft of hydro power.
The search on this property happened before the bust on Haida Drive yesterday where approximately 1670 plants were seized. The man arrested there is also Vietnamese. He faces the same charges as have been laid against the Edna Road couple.

hi mrpg!
Excellent work.
I assume deportation would be in order,if not canadian citizens.
Busy Green Team! OH well, when the economy is low...lots will use crimestoppers to cash in.
wtf i dont even see a asian when i go downtown pg but it seems 1 is getting busted every week lol
Wow, bad time to be in the bud business.
Actually Bellaboop, just a bad time to be in the Export buisness. The weed taken down so far likely was not marked for local Prince George disrtibution and could have been the cause of local problems like guns and hard drugs.
lol you guys are so stupid..have you ever saw a local pg man arrested with kilo's and kilo's of cocaine? me neither because its brought into the country on boats and planes and vessels its gonna take a lot more then shutting down prince george pot growers to stop the traffiking of cocaine and guns in canada.
Don either doesn't have a clue, or doesn't realize that pot is being traded for 'harder' drugs and guns across the border and elsewhere, which in turn supports our growing organized crime industry.
