Quesnel, B.C. – Earlier today, Quesnel RCMP Drug Section executed a search warrant on a property in the thousand block of Rainbow Road in Quesnel.
Inside the two story home, police uncovered a large underground bunker. Police seized three thousand marijuana plants and plants in various stages of growth which had the potential to produce a crop worth ten million dollars.
Quesnel RCMP say their investigation links this grow op to Asian organized crime out of the lower mainland.
The investigation continues.

got to get the loggers working again
Yeah -- like the Asian gangs would ever try to make an honest living as loggers !!
I don't mind people that has a few plants. don't mind the people that smoke the stink weed. Just don't care for the mass producers and the killing that goes with it.
true the mass growers are not nice people and are controlled by organized crime. We also need to go after Meth labs. This drug is so destructive and is catching so many young people. I think anyone caught making meth should have an automatic sentence - of at least 5 years. They are killing people.

Yes to Cheeta's idea, but five years, with no time off for fooling the system with 'good behaviour' The penalties for production and distribution of meth or crack should be severe, and should leave a mark, so to speak.
metalman.
Are there meth labs here? I was under the impression the vast majority of it was produced in South America and shipped up here.

I could be wrong.
