Giants Take Cariboo Cougars

The Vancouver NW Giants won the BC Major Midget
Hockey League Championship series two games to none following
a 5-4 triple overtime victory over the Cariboo Cougars in
Burnaby Saturday.
Connor Rankin scored the winner at 4:19 of the third
overtime period.
The game was tied 2-2 after one and Cariboo led 4-2
after two.
The Giants, who won the opener 6-2 Friday, will
represent BC in the Pacific Midget Regional against the
Alberta Midget champion.
