Accused in Blackwater Road Area Murder to Return to Court Friday

Prince George, B.C.- The 36 year old man facing one count of murder and one of attempted murder in Prince George, will be back in court Friday morning.
 
Michael Bartley made a Prince George court appearance via video conferencing from Dawson Creek this afternoon.
 
Judge Lynn Dollis remanded Bartley until Friday morning at 9:30 when he is expected to appear in person in Prince George court.
 
The charges relate to the stabbing death of 48 year old Owen Thompson and the wounding of a woman . The two were found on a farm near the Clear Lake sawmill last week. A second murder victim was discovered the next day on the property, 45 year old Darren Hala had also been stabbed to death but charges have not yet been laid in that case.
 
Bartley was arrested in Alberta last Thursday.
