Charges Laid in Recent Sexual Assault

Prince George, B.C. - A prince George man is now facing several charges stemming from a violent sexual assault that took place last weekend. The victim was attacked in West Beaverly around 4 in the morning last Sunday. This is the case which had RCMP issuing a call for information on the whereabouts of a white cube van that was badly damaged.
34 year old Joseph Robert Fowlie of Prince George has been charged with six counts under the Criminal Code; Aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault using a weapon, kidnapping, assault using a weapon, uttering threats to cause bodily harm and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
He has been remanded in custody until Wednesday March 31st for his next court appearance.
