Vintage Vehicles Saved In Harper St Fire

Prince George – Firemen remained on the scene early this evening as a blaze in the 800 block of Harper St caused an estimated $80,000 in damage to a back yard shed and caused major damage to a neighbour’s detached garage.

The fire broke out at 3.05 pm. in a shed and quickly spread to a neighbour’s garage which was part of his home. That garage contained three vintage vehicles. The owner was able to get one vehicle out and firemen were able to cover the other two in an effort to reduce damage.

There were people at home in both residences at the time of the blaze, no one was injured.
