Man Arrested In Connection With String Of Accidents

Prince George-A 55 year old man is in custody facing charges related to several accidents in the 900 block of Irwin St. early today ( Wednesday).

Police received reports that a black pick up had hit a tree or building on Irwin St. When police arrived they discovered the pickup had hit a parked 1995 Ford Mustang . The vehicle fled the scene striking another pickup parked in a driveway further up the street before ending up near an apartment block narrowly missing a ground level window.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, but was picked up a short time later, thanks to the help of a nearby resident.

He faces charges of failure to provide a breath sample and failing to remain at the scene of a collision.

if that was me i would get a 5yr suspension and a year in jail i bet but because this goof is 55yrs old he prob will get a 3 month driving prohibition

just sick and tired of old goof drivers getting off but if this guy was 18 ( which im not im 30) he would be plastered all over this site like a scum bag and how he shouldnt be driving until he was 25 and we better make new laws but because this slug is 55 no one even cares to leave a comment

He hit two cars and a building, as well as failure to provide a breath sample. I dont think age will come into play and we can be sure he wont get a three month suspension, gimme a break. Do you have ANY facts to support your claim or are you just another whiner who swears "the system" treats them unfairly?

Who is putting down older drivers? We have driven for a lot longer with fewer tickets and even worse roads. Give a little respect for us old coots, will ya!

Who are you calling a slug? I have kids your age that wouldn't be so disrespectful. I take offence! I'm in my 50's and I don't believe that I would be getting off basically scott free because of my age. Get real! Wait until you're this age and you'll realize how ridiculous that statement is. Pffft!
