Prince George, B.C. - Thieves have been hitting vehicles parked in lots bounded by Ferry road and Vance Road along Highway 16 West.
According to Police, thieves have been targeting  late 1990’s and early 200 two door Chevy Cavaliers and Pontiac Sunfires.
Thieves are prying the doors open far enough to gain access to the locking mechanism as their method of getting into the vehicles. In some cases, the thieves are accessing the trunk area once they get the door open.
Police say owners of these models, or for that matter any smaller model two door vehicle, should be aware of the preference by thieves. Police say so far, the only suspicious vehicle they have associated with this rash of thefts, is an older model, dirty truck.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Prince George Detachment of the RCMP at 250-561-3300 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS

Now one of us has to stay in the Car while the other is Shopping, what a Place Gangsters everywhere .
I wonder if putting a bomb in there for them when they open the door would deter them?
probably a waste of a good bomb.....
a evil thought that might work..
but
I am kidding of course....

LOL

B.C. Racer, I agree with your idea! I think it would stop the B & E problem immediately.

However, I remember when a fellow did that at the coast. Somebody kept breaking into his tool crib trucks. He did the honourable thing, he set a pipe bomb for them. I believe he got charged, and the low life thief got life in a casket!!

Vigilante justice is where we need to be. Enough already of our pathetic justice system. It is my property, I will defend it! That is a guarantee1
