I don't want to put a damper on the stats that Initiatives prince George put together but stats can be played with in many different ways. Why do you think the percentage of unemployment rates have gone down? Because so many of the Mill workers that were layed off last year had their employment insurance run out and the stats showed these putting back to work but, in fact, they didnt start work at all. Their stat just took them off of the pogey line! Its interesting that Initiatives Prince George didnt talk about the small businesses that are continuing to struggle. The stats reported that 242 business licenses have been renewed. When you go to the post office and asked how many businesses are there in Prince George they will say that there are over a thousand; where are the rest of the renewals! I dont see any of the stats on the number of bankruptcies in Prince George. I do not believe Initiatives Prince George is telling the whole story. I think the term that is used is spin doctoring.
It should read, Initiatives Prince George is NOT telling the whole story.
Figures lie, and liar's figure!! That pretty much spells it out.
I DO want to put a damper on the stats that Initiatives Prince George put together. It is time we are told the truth by these "DIRT BAG" politicians and their cronies! I will go with "kidar stats" before Initiatives Prince George. You are right on the money kidar.
So, Initiatives wants to bring a little ray of sunshine, on our dampened souls. and all you can do is rip it out of their hands and claim lies. Where are your stats to prove Initiatives wrong.
Looking at some of the recent past statements by Timmy from IPG, I would be inclined to write off his figures as a Liberal authored document. That is to say, unbelievable. It would appear that Gordo has mouthpieces all about. In this case the taxpayers of PG pay his wages. IMO
Its rather interesting that we would set up IPG with a budget of $2.5 Million dollars, and then watch them go to other websites and glean out all the statistics, form them into another report and somehow suggest that this is a meaningful excercise.

If we wanted any of the above information we could just go the the applicable website.

What the hell is the function of IPG. Do we really need to spend this money every year, just to have these people rehash old information.
The button campaign must have worked well...
