Fraser Lake , B.C.- One man is dead, following a crash on Highway 16 west of Fraser Lake Sunday afternoon.
RCMP say a westbound car and east bound pick collided on Highway 16 just west of Fraser Lake around 3:00 yesterday afternoon.
The driver of the car, a 40 year old man from Burns Lake, was pronounced dead at the scene. His wife was first taken to Vanderhoof Hospital, then airlifted to Prince George. The extent of her injuries is not known. A boy in the car suffered minor injuries.
Two males in the pick suffered minor injuries as well.
The investigation into the crash continues, but at this point, RCMP say they do not believe speed or alcohol were contributing factors.
