Team Canada outscored Latvia 5-1 in the relegation round of the World Under-18 Hockey Championship in Belarus.
Brett Connolly of the PG Cougars did not pick up a point in the game for the Canadians.
Team Canada will play its final game Thursday vs Slovakia.
