This sick bastard should be put out of circulation for life! How many lives did he ruin before he was caught? All for the greed of money! A rope and a drop would be more fitting for this low life! Unfortunately, our justice system will most likely give him a scolding, and send him on his way.

Not wanting to jump to conclusions, but is this jerk even a Canadian Citizen? Marco Tulio Curcio, sounds Canadian to me....
Great to here he was convicted, but as taxinapothole mentioned, he is likely to get next to nothing at sentencing. In my mind, 10yrs (and I mean 10 yrs, not released in 2) would be appropriate considerning the lives DESTROYED by this crap. Better yet, maybe addict him, then he can enjoy the meth-head look, all full of sores and scabs, no teeth etc.
But as we all know after years of hard work by Police he is likely to get a 2 year "conditional sentence" so will get to sit at home and watch TV.
I agree the people making this drug should get thrown in jail - for very a long time.
I think there should automatic sentences for those caught manufacturing meth at least 5 years and then add a few extra years for big labs like this. I agree with 'the view' this guy should get 10 years and no early parole.
I am happy to see that the cops have busted a meth lab and even made an arrest. I imagine his mouthpiece will get the jail sentence down to less than two years, which in my mind is a travesty of justice.
metalman.
You know what, if capital punishment is allowed. they should have him become an addict himself, and see what this crap does to him.
I’m all in favor of locking this guy up but would he be making so much of this crap if there where no demand for it? The users of meth shove this stuff into themselves do they not? The stuff is very addicting and education is key or you start a hell of ride that finishes you.
meth is a dangerous substance he will ge facing a few years over this for sure
"North America's largest known reaction flask"

He did not do this operation on his own. Where are his partners?

This is definitely a step in the right direction. It would be good IF they would locate a few more of these labs. 1 down, a few hundred more to go.

No worries for his own addiction. Going to prison raises the chances that he will become addicted to something. If things go as they historically have, not only will he leave prison with and addiction and will be a wide receiver, there is a good chance he will also have HIV or hepatitis.
I wonder if his crime can be made as murder
unless they know someone who Overdosed and died on his dope...attemted murder i say because the person obviously knows meth kills people and went ahead and produced it for consumption anyway
I predict Matsqui for him. Don't drop the soap Marco!
one of the few small business's which is HST exempt.
I wonder if this will quiet the constant calls of a meth lab bust every time there's a pot bust story.

My bet will be on 'no'.
1 bust of a notoriously harmful and addictive recreational product does not even come close to equalizing the imbalance.

I agree with you, you are right.
It will not quell the constant calls of a meth lab bust every time there's a pot bust story.

When they have 17 meth or "E" busts in a few month span, then we may relent. You seem to be missing the point though. The point is that most of us (up to 65% of Canadians depending on poll source) want decriminalization or legalization of marijuana.
Poll results aside, my feeling is that there are way more pot grow ops than meth labs, hence the disproportion. They'll never be equal.
