Cougar Problem Near Noranda Rd In Prince George

Prince George- Conservation Officers are warning the public to be vigilant after a Cougar attacked and killed a cat near Bellamy Rd. And Noranda Rd East early Tuesday (today).

Police say a resident in the area went looking for their cat just after midnight when they met up with the cat. It did not appear to fear the home owners and had killed their family pet.

Police and wardens warn people that there is wildlife prevalent along the green belts in the city and caution is urged.
