Prince Rupert Arson Suspect Out on Bail

Prince Rupert, B.C.-  The man arrested and charged in connection with a deliberately set fire in Prince Rupert has been released on $10 thousand dollars bail and conditions.

Garth Andrew Jordan Lee was arrested May 6th, 2010 for Arson Endangering Life, Mischief Endangering Life and Arson in relation to a fire that occurred at 111- 7th Street in Prince Rupert  on April 30th, 2010. Lee appeared in court yesterday.

He was released on bail and with several conditions:

  • to report to a bail supervisor,
  • not to possess or consume alcohol or drugs,
  • not to be found in a liquor establishment, and
  • must abide by a 9:00 pm to 6:00 am curfew and
  • not to be in the downtown area of Prince Rupert.

Lee will appear before the court again on May 17th.
