Prince Rupert Arson Suspect Out on Bail

Prince Rupert, B.C.- The man arrested and charged in connection with a deliberately set fire in Prince Rupert has been released on $10 thousand dollars bail and conditions.

Garth Andrew Jordan Lee was arrested May 6th, 2010 for Arson Endangering Life, Mischief Endangering Life and Arson in relation to a fire that occurred at 111- 7th Street in Prince Rupert on April 30th, 2010. Lee appeared in court yesterday.

He was released on bail and with several conditions:

to report to a bail supervisor,
not to possess or consume alcohol or drugs,
not to be found in a liquor establishment, and
must abide by a 9:00 pm to 6:00 am curfew and
not to be in the downtown area of Prince Rupert.

Lee will appear before the court again on May 17th.

just keep people like that locked up. Ten thousand dollars, he did probably hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage.

Yeah on the day he was suppose to show up.....Technically he did show up.
