Names of Crash Victims Released

Prince George, B.C.- The RCMP have released the names of the two people who died in a crash on Highway 16 east of Vanderhoof on Sunday.

The deceased drivers are: Judith Ann Eckland , a 60 year old woman from Burns Lake and Kenneth Barry Samuelson, a 47 year old man from Terrace.

Police continue to investigate this deadly crash, however there is no evidence to suggest that alcohol or drugs played a role in the double fatal head on collision.

With all the 'head on' fatalities they have on this stretch of highway it's about time they put a concrete divider down the entire stretch......ICBC where are you when your needed???

ICBC-ICBS, same thing. They think they are being proactive in their approach to road safety. The collective head of icbc is lost somewhere up the collective behind of icbc, what they have become is Reactive. Like so many levels of government, they cannot see the forest for the trees.
