Kamloops Seize Truck Load of Stuff Including Guns

Kamloops- RCMP have seized an unusually large number of weapons along with ammunition, drugs, vehicles and heavy duty equipment from a local residence.
On the afternoon of June 2, 2010 Kamloops RCMP Drug Section and Property Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a rural property on Campbell Creek Road.
Seized weapons included seven rifles, two shotguns, eleven handguns and a Canadian Army anti-tank rocket launcher. There was also an estimated 30,000 to 40,000 rounds of ammunition.
The drug seizure amounted to approximately 19 pounds of marijuana in various size packages and smaller amounts of cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine.
Also seized was a large amount of sophisticated grow operation equipment.
A 38 year old male has been arrested in connection to the search warrant. He has no criminal record. Proposed charges may include production of a controlled substance, trafficking of a controlled substance, unsafe storage of firearms and possession of prohibited weapons.
The following items were seized as stolen property and are being investigated as proceeds of crime:

· 2005 Corvette
· Dodge Durango
· dune buggy
· Kawasaki quad
· Yamaha motorcycle ·
