Prince George-Prince George RCMP were very busy over the weekend with over 200 calls for service.

Amongst those calls Police were called to investigate 5 assault complaints, 7 Impaired Driving cases,  24 disturbances and 23 Mischief files.

RCMP noticed a drop in Break and Enters and vehicle thefts over the weekend as there were only 2 reported Break ins and only 3 vehicles were reported stolen.
Police believe it is the Public's awareness and heightened security measures that have contributed to the low numbers.

Maybe it was just a "slow" weekend!
maybe it was because the 3 males arrested on Friday committed most of the offenses not happening since.
It would be nice if law abiding citizens could take the law into their own hands. The cost that impacts the victims is ridiculous, and usually for a ashtray full of change. But then I guess we would have anarchy. A friend just dished out 500 bucks to ICBC and all they stole was an empty wallet. I'd say buy a club and leave nothing of value in your car and don't lock the doors!
Get a vicious but quiet dog. That way there are only 'attempted' break ins.
