Justice Chamberlist Set to Retire

Prince George, B.C.- Prince George is about to lose another B.C. Supreme Court Justice.
 
Justice  Eric Chamberlist will be officially retiring as of the first of July.
 
Justice Chamberlist was born in England and raised in the Yukon. He graduated from the University of British Columbia and articled at Wilson King and Company in Prince George. He was called to the bar in 1973.
 
After being called to the bar, Justice Chamberlist practiced law with Hope Heinrich. He left there to enter a law practice partnership with Clifford MacArthur and Bruce Preston (MacArthur, Preston, Chamberlist). All three would be appointed as Judges; Clifford MacArthur as a Provincial Court Judge, Bruce Preston as a County Court Judge then a Supreme Court Justice, and Chamberlist would become a Supreme Court Justice.
 
Upon leaving the partnership, Justice Chamberlist returned to Hope Heinrich until he was appointed a Master of the Supreme Court of B.C. in 1994, and appointed a  B.C. Supreme Court Justice in 1998.

Just a thought. I bet ya it's strange live living as a target.
Maybe yer honour can put a word in to the you know whos, who then could dig up a good ol' fashion "hangin' judge" as a replacement. Here's hoping.
