Prince George B.C.- A special day today for numerous RCMP members in North District.

Later this morning, Deputy Commissioner, Pacific Region and Commanding Officer of “E” Division Gary Bass will be  in Prince George to present long service awards to members and employees who have been with the RCMP for 20 to 35 years.

Other awards being presented include:  the Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal, the St.John’s Life Saving Certificate and the Commanding Officer’s Commendation.

The ceremony  will take place at the Coast Inn of the North.
