Prince George -    Prince George Regional Traffic Services, along with the British Columbia Coroners Office, have determined that a combination of alcohol, drugs, speed and failure to wear a seatbelt, all played a role in the deadly crash on June 13th, 2010 on Highway 97 North, near Salmon Valley BC.

A twenty nine  year old Yukon man lost control of the GMC Canyon Pickup, causing it to roll numerous times.

The unbuckled man was ejected from his vehicle and despite efforts of medical personnel, the young man died as a direct result of injuries sustained in this crash.

The other two  occupants walked away from this horrific crash with minor injuries.

At the request of the man's family, his name will not be released.

Wow, Poor occupants. condolances to them and all family members.

Sorry he died but not sorry aswell considering all the factors involved in the accident. Should be a lesson to other jerks on the highways.
Ah one of those people who thought the rules applied to everyone but him...
Drugs, alcohol, speed and no seat belt. Yup. That will do it.
A lesson to other jerks??? That's like writing a letter to the editor complaining to the crook who stole your TV. You think he reads the opinions page??
Sorry to hear this person had to pay the ultimate price and his family will have to live with that now. I wish that on nobody.
Driving while impaired is relatively easy for the police to detect, but driving while stoned is not.
It is a far bigger problem than most people realize.
And it is every bit as bad as impaired driving....even though most of the stoners will deny that and do it anyway!
