Quesnel teacher Charged With Sexual Exploitation Of Student

Quesnel- A teacher at Quesnel's Correlieu Secondary School has been suspended and is facing criminal charges of sexual interference, sexual assault and sexual exploitation after an incident involving a student which occurred in his classroom in March of this year.

On June 11th,2010 Quesnel RCMP arrested Ronald Norman Ball after receiving information from Correlieu Secondary School that student had been touched for a sexual purpose while attending the school.

The charges stem from a single incident in March of 2010, in which it is alleged that Ball touched a student under the age of 16 for a sexual purpose.

Ball has been released on a Recognizance of Bail and is scheduled to appear in court in Quesnel on June 22nd. His court order does not allow him to teach anyone under the age of 18 until the charges have been disposed of.
