Quesnel teacher Charged With Sexual Exploitation Of Student

Quesnel- A teacher at Quesnel's Correlieu Secondary School has been suspended and is facing criminal charges of sexual interference, sexual assault and sexual exploitation after an incident involving a student which occurred in his classroom in March of this year.

On June 11^th,2010 Quesnel RCMP arrested Ronald Norman Ball after receiving information from Correlieu Secondary School that student had been touched for a sexual purpose while attending the school.

The charges stem from a single incident in March of 2010, in which it is alleged that Ball touched a student under the age of 16 for a sexual purpose.

Ball has been released on a Recognizance of Bail and is scheduled to appear in court in Quesnel on June 22^nd. His court order does not allow him to teach anyone under the age of 18 until the charges have been disposed of.
