Good time for this project to get going, what with the other industrial sites in PG bursting at the seams...and congradulations to all the art students and poets on the design committee who included 6.8kms. of bicycle lane and sidewalks for an industrial site. Sheer brilliance.

Just heard Dan Rodgers comment on the Wolf this am on this project......Wow!!....what the hell did he say? Any body else hear his comment....any body understand it??
The Boundry Road project is another project that will not reap any benefits for the City of Prince George. The only people who will benefit will be those people who own the property that will front this road. They will benefit, because in my opinion they will build a light Industrial Park, that will probably include a huge truck stop, a restaurant, and motel/hotel. They will then entice business from the other industrial parks, ie; Ongman, Danson, Carter Light, and BC Rail Industrial Park, to relocate in the new park.

This will give us less business in town and more business at the new industrial park, nowever no net gain, over all.

There will be no benefits from the Airport because that project is already a laughing stock, and it will not generate any new business in the next 10 to 15 years.

So what we have here is the Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Governments spending $22 Million to set the stage for developers to make a dollar.

Of course we still have no money for roads, garbage, sewer, etc; but lots of money for stupid project like River Road upgrade, Boundry road, Community Energy System, etc; etc; etc;

Will it ever stop? Not as long as people sit in front of the TV, drinking beer, and breaking wind, and ignoring what is going on around them. Its time to wake up and smell the roses.
